The closest one can come to an untouched forest in Uppsala is at Fiby. You can walk along the paths that meander between boulders and fallen trees. You might catch a glimpse of some of the forest’s inhabitants – maybe even Uppland’s county insect, the cinnabar beetle (Cucujus cinnnaberinus).
