Billudden is as far north as you can get in Uppland. ‘Udden,’ which means ‘the cape,’ is a portion of the Uppsala esker that disappears into the sea. Look for fossils along the rocky beaches, see a stony beach that no longer reaches the waves, or taste the sea-buckthorn’s tart berries. Bring binoculars – there are lots of birds around here!
