Common Frog
Latin: Rana temporaria (Linné 1758)
Svenska: Vanlig groda
Deutsch: Grasfrosch
Very variable
Common frogs’ colouring can vary greatly from frog to frog. They might have anything from a reddish skin to a greenish one.
These frogs are found in wet areas in open cultural landscapes.
The common frog goes into hibernation in the winter, digging down into the mud where they breathe through their skin.
