Fiby Virgin Forest
The closest one can come to an untouched forest in Uppsala is in Fiby. You can walk along the paths that meander between boulders and fallen trees. You might catch a glimpse of some of the forest’s inhabitants – maybe even Uppland’s county insect, the cinnabar beetle (Cucujus cinnnaberinus).
