The European robin's song spans a wide range of notes. It usually begins quite low and can rise to much higher notes.
There are about half a million European robins in Uppsala county, which means there are more robins than people!
You can see large numbers of robins along the coast during October. They spend the winter in the western Mediterranean. European robins return to Uppland in mid-April.
