The early bird
The great tit is a little over-excited for spring to arrive. By January, he has already begun singing his territorial call. That particular song is quite monotone, but he has much more in his repertoire. Great tits can produce up to 50 different calls!
Great tits are common throughout Uppland.
The great tit tends to stay in Uppland throughout the year. Some years, however, many great tits might head southwest for the winter.
