Terrorizing little birds
The merlin is a talented flier and can dive very suddenly. It may turn itself nearly upside-down to catch smaller birds from beneath!

Merlins do not nest in Uppland, but pass by during the spring and autumn every year. They head southwards in September and October, and northwards again in April and May.
